Barbara Nedeljakova was born in beautiful Banska Bystrica in central Slovakia. She studied acting in Prague at prestigious Famu University. During this time she was discovered by Nova Models and immediately began acting in worldwide commercial campaigns such as Samsung, T-Mobile, and Woolite.
Barbara’s budding career skyrocketed in 2005 when she starred in the critically acclaimed horror film, Hostel, taking on the pivotal role, Natalia, in a performance that provided the edge needed to elevate Hostel to a universal smash hit. In years following, she’s worked alongside Eli Roth, Quentin Tarantino, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Jackie Chan, and Owen Wilson in films such as Shanghai Nights, The Hike, Children of the Corn, The Winner, Isle of Dogs, and Ashes, as well as television roles in Crossing Lines and Black Angel. Look for Barbara in her upcoming roles in the films, Hunters and Devils Door set to shoot in 2014. Barbara loves traveling, writing, painting, and being involved in various charities around the world. She currently resides in and travels between Los Angeles and Prague with her husband and son.
